Oh my…

Wow. That was a difficult practice. Lots and lots of endurance and strength training. I feel like every muscle in my body is planning a mutiny. If my muscles go on strike will somebody scoop me up and carry me around for the day?

It was really a good practice though. I did notice that if I laced my skates just a tiny bit tighter (but not as tight as I used to) the shin splints were not as severe. I think it has to do with my foot rolling inward too much in my skate. Lacing up more snugly helps prevent that, but then my arches hurt. I'd rather my arches hurt than my shins, though.

I also broke another skate lace. Damn!
